The 17-year-old Cumberwell Park ace backed up a scorching morning four under 66 with a superb afternoon 69 at Came Down Golf Club, near Dorchester, to win the regional championship by two strokes from Sherborne’s Tom Plumb.

Cornwall beat Wales Minor Counties by seven wickets at Truro Cricket Club today after a remarkable 26 wickets fell on a sensational opening day yesterday at Boscawen Park.
Cornwall wrapped up victory before lucnh as Wales were skittled out for 61 this morning and the home side raced to 42-3.
