Cornwall-based golf professional Chris Gill swept through the field to win the Dudsbury Masters on a spectacular day of scoring at the Bournemouth course.
Gill, 38, pipped Wessex Golf Centre pro Michael Watson at the first extra play-off hole after both players stormed to the leaderboard summit on 133 following scorching rounds in the PGA in England & Wales (South West) event.

Wiltshire-born goal scoring midfielder Yan Klukowski has teamed up with Kevin Nicholson’s new-look Torquay United ahead of the new season.
The 30-year-old joins Torquay from York City after helping Gary Mills’ Minstermen win the FA Trophy, beating Macclesfield 3-2 at Wembley last month.

Bristol City have smashed their transfer record to sign Angers SCO and Senegal striker Famara Diédhiou for £5.3m.
The club has eclipsed its previous transfer record of £3.25m spent on Jonathan Kodjia from the same French Ligue 1 club in 2015.
