I am about to start long overdue on-the-run updates to the SWSN running pages.
I aim to get things sorted as soon as practically possible and envisage this will - sensibly - require two weeks, at least, as it has done in previous years.

I ran my first eight miles in preparation for next month's Plymouth Half Marathon on Sunday at Burrator but it was thanks to a runner from Instinctive Sports, Fred Jenkins, that I ran a half decent pace.
Fred was a great ambassador for the sport and Instinctive Sports, reminding me why I started running with a club in the first place.

There are a string of top running clubs throughout the region and I intend to try and link you to them all eventually.
First off . . . Tamar Trotters, who are based in Saltash and boast a superb, informative website as well as being an all-round welcoming, friendly and helpful club.

Entries for the 2010 Plymouth Half Marathon on Sunday May 30 have closed at a record high.
Race organiser Nigel Rowe MBE said: "It's fantastic news to have achieved 6,000 entrants - our largest to date.
