NATIONAL COUNTIES T20 down to the wire

NCCA-Logo MasterCalculators will again be at the ready as places in this season’s National Counties T20 Finals Day are decided today. 

The final round of double-headers in the four groups take place and 11 of the 20 National Counties are still in contention for semi-final places and a trip to Tring Park CC for Finals Day on Sunday May 22. 


NATIONAL COUNTIES T20 team news rounds 3/4

NCCA-Logo MasterGlamorgan all-rounder Dan Douthwaite is in line to make his debut for Wales NC at Newport. 

Batter Callum Taylor, another Glamorgan staffman, will make his seasonal debut on his home club ground. 


NATIONAL COUNTIES T20 round two team news

NCCA-Logo MasterGreg Smith, the former Derbyshire and Essex all-rounder, will make his debut for Wales NC against Oxfordshire at Wormsley today.  

Smith previously played National Counties cricket for Cornwall but has joined Wales as player/assistant coach this season.  


NATIONAL COUNTIES Lintott back for Wiltshire opener

NCCA-Logo MasterJake Lintott, a left-arm wrist spinner, is set to make his first appearance for Wiltshire in three years against Dorset at Bashley in their T20 opener today. 

Lintott’s impressive form with Wiltshire in 2019 secured him a trial with Warwickshire in 2020 and, having made his mark in the Vitality Blast, he secured a contract at Edgbaston. 


NATIONAL COUNTIES Championship final race is on

NCCA-Logo MasterSeven counties head into today’s final round of three-day National Counties Championship matches with a chance of qualifying for next month’s final at Tring Park (September 5-8). 

All four of the Western Division One sides in action are in contention to top the division with 15 points separating Oxfordshire – who went top by beating defending champions Berkshire this week – from fourth place Dorset. 


NATIONAL COUNTIES Western Division preview

NCCA-Logo MasterIn Western Division One Berkshire have the chance to go top against Oxfordshire at Thame. 

Berkshire are currently second in the table just a point behind Dorset, who sit out this round of matches, with Oxfordshire also in contention to finish top and qualify for next month’s final at Tring.
