Pace setters Bath CC beat West of England Premier Cricket league rivals Bristol CC by five wickets in the ECB Club Championship regional final at North Parade yesterday.
Bristol won the toss and opted to bat, scoring 200-8 in their 45 overs. Bath raced to 205-5 in 28 overs to set up another home clash, in the final 16 against Sussex side Normandy on Sunday July 16.

Torquay United FC boss Kevin Nicholson has added yet more experience to his new-look Gulls by signing highly rated 35-year-old Bristol-born keeper Ryan Clarke.
Clarke will replace American keeper Brendan Moore – who recently joined League 1 Rochdale on a two-year deal – as the new Gulls no 1.

Yeovil Town have signed promotion-winning Plymouth Argyle midfielder Connor Smith.
The 24-year-old joins Yeovil from the Pilgrims on a free transfer, penning a two-year contract at Huish Park.

Torquay United midfielder Courtney Richards has joined National League rivals Macclesfield Town.
The Jamaican 23-year-old made 29 appearances for Kevin Nicholson's Gulls last season, playing in United's opening 2-0 league defeat at Moss Rose and the 1-1 Plainmoor draw with the Silkmen.

Truro’s Adrian Noott took centre stage as Cornwall’s cricketers battled to avoid a two-day defeat in their Unicorns Counties Championship game against Cheshire at Nantwich.
Cheshire were bowled out for 400 giving them a first innings lead of 192.
