Cornwall cricket chough Falmouth CC and Truro CC won rescheduled Cornwall Cricket Vinter Cup quarter finals last night to set up a semi final clash.

Troon CC were restricted to 76-6 at Falmouth who went on to win by six wickets with five overs to spare.

Cornwall Cricket chough Penzance CC won the first major Cornwall Cricket League silverware of summer by winning a low-scoring Premier 40/40 Cup final against Truro CC by 63 runs at Hayle CC.

Penzance made 111 all out with player of the match Christian Purchase holding the innings together with a patient 52.
