The Southern Football League board, together with fellow Trident Leagues, has reviewed the implications of the latest government lockdown - including further suspending all fixtures until and including March 6. A Southern League statement released today by operations manager Jason Mills revealed: “The matter was also discussed at length by the FA’s Alliance Committee earlier this week.”

Cornish full back Kyle Moyle has signed a permanent deal to remain at Premiership club Gloucester. Truro born Moyle joined the Cherry & Whites at the start of the season on a short-term deal from Championship club Cornish Pirates.

Plymouth Argyle boss Ryan Lowe was delighted with his side as they got back to winning ways with a 1-0 home win over mid-table League One rivals Gillingham.Wales Under 21 striker Luke Jephcott swept home the 33rd minute winner finishing off Argyle’s best move of the game, from their own box.
