Herefordshire’s Shaun Jones won the Men’s National Two-Wood Singles Championship, supported by the Friends of English Bowling.The Ross-on-Wye bowler defeated Kent’s Tom Bishop (Bromley BC) in yesterday's final at Victoria Park, Royal Leamington Spa.

The 26-year-old from Torquay defeated Lincolnshire’s Amy Gowshall 21-5 in the final to secure the title for the second time, following her first national singles success in 2015.

Devon’s international bowls star Sophie Tolchard has won the Bowls England Women's National Junior Singles Championship following a thrilling 21-20 final victory at Victoria Park, Royal Leamington Spa today.
Tolchard (Kings Bowling Club, Torquay) beat fellow England international Jamie-Lea Winch following a brilliant last-end in front of an enraptured gallery.
