Somerset visit Worcestershire today in the Royal London One-Day Cup play-off after pipping South West rivals Gloucestershire to third spot in the South Group on a better run rate.After three defeats Somerset got back on track – thanks to James Hildreth’s 95 – to ease past county champions Surrey by five wickets at Taunton.

The regional club cricket season got well and truly underway yesterday with the opening matches in the Devon Cricket League, Dorset Cricket League, Southern Premier Cricket League, South Wales Premier Cricket League and West of England Premier Cricket League.The Bristol & District Cricket League, Gloucestershire County Cricket League, Somerset Cricket League and Wiltshire County Cricket League also start today.
The Cornwall Cricket League and North Devon Cricket League had already commenced.

First team coach Kevin Nancekivell will take charge of Plymouth Argyle for their final League One game of season - at home to relegation rivals Scunthorpe United on Saturday - as manager Derek Adams and assistant Paul Wotton have been relieved of duties with immediate effect.Argyle's 5-1 defeat at Accrington Stanley on Saturday saw the greens slip into the relegation zone following five defeats in a row.
