Gloucestershire pipped hosts Dorset at the post to win the coveted South West Matchplay Shield at Parkstone Golf Club.
Gary Ward's side made it four wins from five with a last day emphatic victory over Devon while Ian Veale's Cornwall became the first county to beat Tom Leech's Dorset, rallying from 5-3 down to upset the hosts by winning three of the four afternoon foursomes.
