RFU Championship club Cornish Pirates have bolstered their midfield ranks by signing former Newport Gwent Dragons back Tom Riley.
Pontypridd-born Riley, 27, is a former Wales Under 21 and Wales Sevens centre.
As well as playing Pro12 rugby for Dragons, Riley also had spells at Pontypridd and Cardiff Blues.
• Over 100 rugby teams have entered this year's Newquay Surf 7s, which takes place next weekend at Newquay Sports Centre, Tretherras Road (Saturday June 30 and Sunday July 1).
Organiser Andy Hawken - a stalwart of Redruth Rugby's Hall of Fame pack - this morning confirmed 104 teams are heading to Newquay for the annual surf sevens, which also incorporates a netball tournament.

• Bristol Combination Cup holders Avonmouth Old Boys RFC have commenced pre-season training on Tuesday nights (1900 start) at their Barracks Lane base.
The Mouth have won a first-time promotion to 2012-2013 National League Three South West.

• Camborne RFC restart pre-season training at the Recreation Ground next Tuesday (July 3, 1830). The Cherry and Whites first team compete in Tribute South West One West.
The club boast three senior sides and an under 19s XV.
