Cornish Pirates have swooped to sign Exeter-born former Newcastle Falcons flyer Tom Bedford for the 2012-13 RFU Championship campaign.
Bedford, 23, joined Falcons at the beginning of January - from Championship outfit Bedford Blues - and within days made his Aviva Premiership debut against hometown team Exeter Chiefs.
Bedford left Exeter for the Blues in 2010.
Pirates have also signed Bristol Rugby lock forward Darren Barry, 22, and St Just-born hooker Darren Semmens, 24, who has played for Cornish All Blacks, Redruth and Mounts Bay.
Six foot six Barry previously played for Clifton and is a product of Bristol's Filton College.
