Devon Rugby have selected their starting XV to face North Midlands in the Bill Beaumont Cup county championship opener at Stourbridge RFC.
Devon - managed by Gareth Jones - are without key players from National League Two South side Taunton Titans, newly-promoted National League Three South West runners-up Exmouth and Barnstaple RFC, who provided players for the recent Tamar Cup warm-up clash against Cornwall at Plymouth.

Cinderford RFC provide the bulk of players for Gloucestershire's 2013 county championship opener against Cornwall as well as hosting Saturday's Bill Beaumont Cup Division One South starter at Dockham Road (1500).
Nine players from the National League One side are in Gloucestershire's starting XV, skippered by Richmond captain and highly-rated lock forward Will Warden, confirmed by county head coach Paul Morris.

Redruth's fit-again front row forward Darren Jacques is recalled to the starting line-up but Launceston's Tom Rawlings is still ruled out by injury so his place goes to Camborne's Sam Matavesi, who has just signed a new one-year deal to stay at Plymouth Albion.

Cornwall bid to retain the Tamar Cup when they make a short trip across the border river to Plymouth Albion RFC to face annual pre-season rivals Devon tonight (1930).
Teams are correct at times of posting although Cornwall flanker Tom Rawlings suffered a leg injury and was replaced by Devon's Jamie Tripcony in the 20th minute of Cornish All Blacks' gutsy 19-7 defeat by National Two South leaders Worthing at Polson Bridge on Saturday.

England Under 18s defend the FIRA/AER European Championship title when they take on hosts France in the final in Grenoble tomorrow (1600 GMT).
With a record crowd of 20,000 expected at the Stade de Alpes, England have made encouraging progress in this year's tournament, beating Portugal 82-8 in the opening round before overcoming Scotland 25-12 in the semi-final.
