ENGLAND U18s South West players in European final XV

England Under 18s defend the FIRA/AER European Championship title when they take on hosts France in the final in Grenoble tomorrow (1600 GMT).
With a record crowd of 20,000 expected at the Stade de Alpes, England have made encouraging progress in this year's tournament, beating Portugal 82-8 in the opening round before overcoming Scotland 25-12 in the semi-final.
Torbay-born scrum half Stuart Townsend – who started playing rugby at Kingsbridge in South Devon - added: "It's a massive game, none of us have played in front of that many people, so all of the boys will work hard in training and we're just excited to get out there."
Townsend is one of four Exeter Chiefs Academy youngsters in the final squad along with Ivybridge College team-mate Charlie Hewitt and Cornwall forwards Luke Chapman and Matt Bolwell from Truro College.
Bath Rugby duo Rory Jennings and Charlie Ewels both start the game while Hartpury College forward Andrew Hughes starts on the replacements' bench.
