Plymouth Marjon, eighth in the West of England & South Wales Hockey League, have been drawn away to unbeaten England Hockey League leaders Surbiton in the Men’s Cup third round.
The Men’s Cup is England Hockey’s equivalent of football’s FA Cup competition and Plymouth will need to become giant-killers on Sunday November 15 if they are to progress past the last 16 into the quarter finals.

England Men’s Conference West pace setters Cheltenham host University of Exeter in round two on Saturday at Balcarras.
Cheltenham opened with a 4-1 home win over Indian Gymkhana with goals from Alex Salmon and Matthew Court sandwiching successful penalty corner conversions by Dan Jackson.

Bristol-based Clifton Ladies bid to build on an opening winning start when they play their second Women’s Premier Division home match in a week on Saturday.
Aileen Davis’ side beat Bowdon Hightown 2-1 thanks to second half Harriet Pearce and Claire Thomas goals and are now set to host Canterbury, who drew goalless at Holcombe, in round two.
