The action-packed 27-year-old Manchester-born midfielder (pictured) suffered a foot injury in last Saturday’s 2-2 draw at Blackpool.

Argyle boss Derek Adams says: “Antoni hasn’t trained this week. He is going to train today and hopefully tomorrow and we will take it from there.”

Fellow midfielder Jamie Ness – who required stitches to a cut above his eye – is “fine “ says Adams, who confirmed right back Joe Riley will be in plaster for four to six weeks following an elbow operation and is therefore ruled out for rest of season.

Oscar Threlkeld replaced Riley at right back after nine minutes at Blackpool, where Yann Songo’o came on for Sarcevic after 62 minutes.

Adams reveals 23-year-old Argyle midfielder Conor Grant (thigh) could be back before end of season.

Charlton are fifth in League One on 70 points, seven points clear of sixth placed Doncaster.

Argyle start the day 14th on 47 points following back to back 2-2 draws, which they led going into stoppage time.
