Irish ace Carey (pictured) was ruled out of Argyle’s 2-2 home draw with Bristol Rovers by a back/hamstring injury at 1100 last Saturday.

Argyle’s pivotal former Blackpool midfielder David Fox (groin) and attacking full back Joe Riley (ankle) were subbed during the game but have returned to training. Carey is set to resume training today.

This morning Adams said: “We are very hopeful that the three of them will be fit.”

Argyle start the weekend 14th in League One 10 points behind eighth placed Blackpool.
