The divisional structure for the 2011-2012 England Hockey League season has been confirmed.
New to the Men’s Premier Division following their successful promotions are play-off winners and West Conference champions University of Exeter.

Durham University edged out University of Wales Institute Cardiff in the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Sevens Championship at Preston Grasshoppers.
The two-day Preston event was the product of five regional qualification festivals in which over 40 teams participated.

Ilfracombe Town take on Bristol-based club Cadbury Heath at Wells City FC’s home ground, Rowdens Road, in the Toolstation Western League (Les Phillips) Cup final at 1500 today.

Plymouth Argyle must win their penultimate League One game of the season at home to Southampton this afternoon (Home Park 1500) to be in with a last-day shout of staying up.
Following back to back 1-0 wins - at Dagenham & Redbridge and home to MK Dons - Argyle's Devon derby defeat by the same scoreline at Exeter on Saturday means they must win their final two (home) games to stand any chance of retaining their League One status.
