Exeter Chiefs scrum half Haydn Thomas makes his first start of the season in Sunday’s home Aviva Premiership fixture against Saracens (Sandy Park 1415 ko).
There is also a switch in Chiefs back line with Ian Whitten and Phil Dollman trading places, the former starting in the centre, the latter on the wing.
Injuries to Craig Mitchell and Tom Johnson mean Carl Rimmer and James Phillips come into the pack as Chiefs try and get back on the winning track following narrow back to back defeats on the road at Northampton and London Welsh.
