It's a huge hockey Sunday for the region's top national league sides today.
At 1230 top flight Bristol side Clifton Ladies are set to host Premier rivals Sutton Coldfield in the Investec Women's Cup semi finals at Clifton College Sports Ground (see link below).

Kevin Marriott - Cornish Guardian, Cornishman and West Briton sports editor - kindly informed me early yesterday that tonight's Elburton Villa versus Bodmin Town South West Peninsula Premier match has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Haye Road.

Tomorrow's Rotherham Titans v Cornish Pirates game has been postponed tomorrow and tenatively rescheduled for Sunday (1400) subject to another Clifton Lane pitch inspection tomorrow morning.

Torquay United manager Alan Knill admits last night’s 2-1 home win over Chesterfield was “massive” and it is important to follow-up with another, similar, Plainmoor result on Saturday against relegation rivals York City.
