University of Exeter returned to the Men's Conference West summit on goal difference following yesterday's absorbing 2-1 top of the table home win over title rivals Guildford.
Nick Cooper's second half double sandwiched William Blockley's 57th minute close range strike to put Exeter - captained by central defender Chris Barker - back on top of the table.

Plymouth boss John Sheridan praised his young side and Argyle's self-proclaimed green army following a crucial comeback win over relegation rivals Barnet at Home Park.
Sheridan said: "Barnet scored against the run of play and in the position we are in we could have let our heads drop but instead of that we rose."

Exeter Chiefs utility back Mark Foster has joined Championship outfit Jersey on loan.

University of Exeter host leaders Guildford in the Men's Conference West match of the day next Sunday (1230).
Guildford, on 31, have a three-point advantage over second placed Exeter, who led three times at fourth placed Team Bath Buccaneers before Tom Griffiths' 69th minute strike levelled the game 3-3.
