The fifth annual Team Bath Buccaneers First Team Hockey Festival takes place at the University of Bath Sports Training Village this weekend.
This year has seen an increased entry which should lead to an exciting weekend of hockey as teams build up to the new league season.

Fresh from their first Championship win, Gary Johnson's Yeovil Town visit Southend United in Capital One Cup round one tonight.
Midfielder Ed Upson scored Yeovil's historic first Championship goal – winner – in the 88th minute of a 1-0 victory at Millwall on Saturday while Southend beat Plymouth Argyle 1-0 in League Two at Roots Hall thanks to a 15th minute strike from Barry Corr, signed for the Shrimpers by former United and Argyle boss Paul Sturrock.

It's Tuesday, it's raining so that must mean time for club rugby players to start pre-season training...
Having woken up a fair few coaches/players this morning it seems most rugby clubs across the region - from Penzance to Pontypridd, Poole to Painswick RFC - resume training tonight in preparation for the up-and-coming 2013-14 league season.

In last night's first Vinter Cup semi final at Hayle, Paul beat Camborne by six wickets with an over to spare.
After a good start Camborne were pegged back to end on 127 for 7 with skipper Dan Stephens making 22.
