Torquay United FC have announced the deal to transfer ownership of the National League club has been completed.
The consortium led by former United striker Dean Edwards will now take control after reaching an agreement with the remaining board of directors at the Launa Windows Stadium.

Aylesbury-born Clarke, 25, is a former Woking, Salisbury City, Oxford City and Oxford United defender.

Plymouth Argyle FC have today appointed former Ross County FC boss Derek Adams as the League Two club’s new first team manager.
Glasgow-born Adams, 39, had two spells as Ross boss – where he was a prolific goal scoring striker – sandwiching a spell as assistant manager to Colin Calderwood at Hibernian FC.

Dorset’s Tom Robson is the new South Western Counties amateur golf champion.
Robson, 23 from Weymouth Golf Club, finished two shots ahead of Clevedon teenager Ali Balcombe following a four holes medal play-off after they completed 36 holes one under at Bristol & Clifton.
