Exeter Diamonds remain on course for the end of season Premier Squash League play-off semi-finals following their seventh win of the season, 3-2 over Winchester in round eight.
Finn Olli Tuominen ensured another Diamonds win by beating Qatar teenager Abdulla Mohd Al Tamimi to put the home side 3-1 ahead at the Devon & Exeter Squash & Racketball Club.
Victory keeps Diamonds within a point of group B leaders Surrey Health & Racquets ahead of their pivotal March 18 Croydon clash in the penultimate round. Defending PSL champions Surrey won 3-2 at cross-county rivals St George's Hill.
UWE/elitesquash Bristol triumphed 3-2 over higher-placed visitors Team Chichester to claim their third PSL win of the season.
Bristol’s winners were 18-year-old Egyptian schoolgirl Yathreb Adel, Exeter-based 24-year-old Michael Harris and 39-year-old retired Welsh pro David Evans.
Bristol visit Winchester in round nine on March 18.
