PSL SQUASH Big comeback wins for Bristol and Exeter

Premier Squash League supported by Dunlop SportBristol’s Elite Squash upset the form book with a brilliant 3-2 win at reigning Premier Squash League champions Surrey to make a flying start to 2014.

Bristol had not won on the road in four years and trailed 2-0 at the defending champions before scoring the shock result of the season thanks to wins for world no 4 Mohamed Elshorbagy, David Evans and Thomas Ford.

Elshorbagy is based in Bristol, Evans in Pontypool and Ford in Cheltenham.

Exeter Diamonds – who visit Bristol on February 18 – are level top of group B following a thrilling 3-2 home win over St George’s and wins for Egypt’s world no 8 Omar Mosaad at one, Dutch ace Laurens Jan Anjema at two and Devon teenager Tory Temple-Murray in the women’s opener.
