Plymouth host south west rivals Somerset in Saturday's opening 2012 Premier League speedway match of the season at St Boniface Arena (1930).
Semi finalists Somerset beat the Devils 51-39 in last month's League Cup meeting in Plymouth.
Plymouth promoter Mike Bowden admits: “We will be looking for some revenge from the last time Somerset were here.
“We have strengthened our side since then and our new signing Todd Kurtz is looking forward to making his home debut for us. He has already shown that he can do the business on the track, winning three of his races at Rye House last Saturday.
“We also have two former Somerset riders, Cory Gathercole and James Holder, who will be keen to do well against their former club.”
Leading the Rebels challenge will be Jason Doyle and Sam Masters, two Australians who were both born in Newcastle, New South Wales.
The third Somerset heat leader is Claus Vissing from Denmark with second string back-up from James Wright and Alex Davies.
At reserve are Kyle Newman, who was paid for 12 points on his previous visit to the St Boniface Arena, and talented teenager Tom Perry.
The Premier League opener is taking place on Saturday because Plymouth have a rescheduled League Cup trip to Somerset on Friday.
• Devils supporters who attended last week’s rained-off meeting against Ipswich will be able to use their re-admission tickets this Saturday.
