PLYMOUTH HALF ENTRIES CLOSE AT RECORD HIGH

Entries for the 2010 Plymouth Half Marathon on Sunday May 30 have closed at a record high.
Race organiser Nigel Rowe MBE said: "It's fantastic news to have achieved 6,000 entrants - our largest to date.
"In addition to this the Schools Challenge is closed with a record 1,202 entrants, this event takes place on Saturday May 29.
"The Fun Run will be reinstated this year but with a limit of 500, this will also be staged on May 29 along with a new and exciting feature called Athletics on the Prom.
"We have also just launched a massive training support programme with Armada Athletics Network, Run in England and Women's Running Network. See our website for further details."
