Demand for South West Sports News to carry more fixtures has escalated hand-in-hand with the increasing popularity of our twitter feed, which has now powered past 3,000 followers.
Many of you know that SWSN is a one-man operation backed by you and your club officials as team-mates so we don't claim to offer a comprehensive service.
Without your assistance and diligence in confirming venues, kick off times and postponements (when applicable) I cannot hope to deliver the free profile-raising service your clubs and sports require in these difficult financial times.
It has not been easy for the smaller clubs – probably any sports club – during a double-dip recession but to make my life easier in helping you, you have to be pro-active for SWSN.
Much as I love delving into your various websites and twitter feeds there is only so much searching I can do while trying to pass-on positive sports news . . .
