BRISTOL RUGBY Sheedy back for Bears

Bristol Bears light logoPlaymaker Callum Sheedy returns to the Bristol starting XV for their final round Premiership clash at Harlequins with qualification for the play-offs still to play for on the final day of the season.

The experienced fly half makes his 165th competitive appearance for the club in the absence of the injured AJ MacGinty (concussion) as one of three changes from last week's 41-20 defeat at home to second placed Saracens.

Noah Heward is named on the wing for the trip to West London, while in the front row, Harry Thacker makes his first start since December at hooker.

Among the replacements, forward Jake Woolmore is set for his 150th appearance for the club – the 14th player to reach that milestone for the club – while Argentina U20 back row Ben Grondona could make his Premiership debut.

Kalaveti Ravouvou has undergone minor surgery on his shoulder for a long-standing issue which will see him return for the pre-season campaign.

Bears start the day seventh, a point and place behind Quins.
