Cornish Pirates visit Cross Keys RFC in the British & Irish Cup tonight buoyed by a nine-try 65-14 Championship win over Bedford Blues.
Rob Elloway comes into the Pirates’ winning XV at hooker and Joel Conlon is selected at blind-side flanker for the tie at Pandy Park (1945ko).
Chris Morgan begins on the bench so the skipper's armband is passed to lock Darren Barry.
Luke Jones wings in for Kieran Goss, Stuart Townsend starts at scrum-half and centre Rheon James, who scored a try on his immediate introduction as a replacement against Bedford, is named as a midfield partner to Alex Dancer.
Cornish Pirates' Director of Rugby Ian Davies says: "Traditionally it’s always tough travelling to Wales to play and under lights seems to heighten the task.
"We had a cracking comeback win against Keys at the Mennaye earlier in the competition when a number of our younger players really came of age. Our focus is to try and get close to the standards of intensity and game management we produced last Sunday against Bedford."
Pirates rallied from 30-17 down to pip Keys 34-33 at the Mennaye in October as fly-half Laurence May kept his cool to land a tie-clinching 73rd minute penalty. May starts on the bench tonight.
