Cornish Pirates captain Gavin Cattle is set to skipper the RFU Championship XV against the touring Maori All Blacks on Saturday at Castle Park, Doncaster RFC (ko1205).
Bridgend born scrum half Cattle is one of three Pirates in the squad which also includes his Mennaye team mates prop Alan Paver - in his testimonial term - and back row forward Phil Burgess, hat-trick scorer in Sunday's 53-21 win over Rotherham.
Championship newcomers Jersey are represented by captain and second row forward Nathan Hannay while Bristol backs Tristan Roberts and Jack Tovey boost the Westcountry presence along with Plymouth Albion hooker Jon Vickers.
RFU Championship XV head coach Mike Rayer said : "There are some guys who have done really well in the RFU Championship and have been around this division for a number of years.
"It's important that you have that blend of more experienced guys guiding the young enthusiastic players around the pitch. That's exactly what I'm expecting of guys like Gavin Cattle and Alan Paver, who are very experienced at this level.
"There are some really exciting looking backs in the squad as well. I'm really excited by the potential centre partnership, and what we have out wide. It's a good mix."
