Australian international Dean Mumm is recalled to Exeter Chiefs' pack for tonight's historic Heineken Cup challenge against star-studded French Top 14 side ASM Clermont Auvergne (Sandy Park 1800).

Second row forward Mumm makes his first European start as Chiefs host their first Heineken Cup tie on home soil following last Saturday's oh-so-close 9-6 pool five defeat by hat-trick chasing champions Leinster in Dublin.

Clermont - who narrowly lost 19-5 to Leinster in last season's semis – kicked off this season's cup campaign with a big 49-16 home win over Scarlets.

Clermont chief Vern Cotton also makes one change to his winning line-up, 31-year-old French international Julien Pierre in for suspended Scot Nathan Hines.
