Plymouth Albion have been boosted by the news that influential captain Sean-Michael Stephen has been passed fit to face Rotherham tonight at Brickfields (1945).

Stephen missed last week's 34-23 defeat at London Welsh due to a hip injury.

Fellow forward Dan Collier has also recovered from a knock he picked up at Old Deer Park but hooker Jon Vickers has been ruled out after failing a fitness test.

Canadian international Stephen and Collier will form a new second-row partnership with Herbie Stupple keeping his place in the back-row after impressing last weekend.

Albion are still without World Cup forwards Aaron Carpenter and Tyler Hotson.

Prop Rob Dugard will make his first league start for Albion tonight while former Rotherham player Davy McGregor and ex-Blackheath winger Tyson Lewis make the bench for the first time.

Gates at Brickfields open at 5pm and the club are hoping supporters will arrive early and take advantage of the club's catering facilities to avoid a late rush.

Albion team: Love, McGrath, Armitage, Fisilau, Mitchell, Bailey, Cushion, Morton, Evans, Dugard, Collier, Stephen (capt), Stupple, Sprangle, Hocking. Reps: Farnham, Lee, McGregor, Hopkins, Lewis, Lockley, Tyas.
