Australian scrum-half Pat Phibbs is to remain with the Exeter Chiefs until the end of the season after extending his contract with the Aviva Premiership club.
The 30-year-old was brought to Devon back in September by Exeter head coach Rob Baxter on a short-term deal to act as cover whilst Junior Poluleuligaga was away at the Rugby World Cup with Samoa.

League rugby union is back - and how! There are some cracking National League Two South fixtures in the south west today . . . with home games for Clifton, Redruth and Taunton.
Bristol based Clifton - skippered this term by Harrison Tovey - host Worthing (Station Road 1430), while Redruth meet Shelford at the Recreation Ground (1500) and Lee Waddon's Taunton - skippered by flanker Sean Fox - face a ding-dong opening encounter against Bristol's Dings Crusaders (Hyde Park, 1500).

Gloucester Rugby are delighted to confirm that number eight Luke Narraway will be the club’s captain for the forthcoming season.
Narraway, of course, was skipper for large parts of last season when Mike Tindall was absent on international duty and lifted the LV= Cup trophy when Gloucester were triumphant in the final at Franklin’s Gardens.

Bath's Lewis Moody will skipper England against Wales in Saturday’s Investec International at Twickenham Stadium (1430).
Moody skippers a side that include's Bath team-mate and Jersey-born Matt Banahan on the wing and Devon's Delon Armitage recalled at full back in the starting XV.

Exeter Chiefs newcomer Josh Tatupu admits the lure of England and playing in the Aviva Premiership contributed to his decision to join the Devon club.
The 25-year-old, who is equally adept on both the wing and in the centre, is one of nine new faces Exeter head coach Rob Baxter has brought to Sandy Park as the Chiefs look to tackle their second season in English rugby's top flight.

Exeter captain Tom Hayes senses a real buzz of excitement around Sandy Park as the Chiefs prepare for their second season in the Aviva Premiership.
The 2011-12 Premiership fixtures are due to be released this morning when Rob Baxter’s Chiefs squad – including Hayes and the majority of Exeter’s summer signings – return to pre-season training.
