GLOUCESTER RUGBY Morgan and Wood injury updates

Gloucester Rugby have issued an update on forwards Ben Morgan and Nick Wood, both injured in the 24-23 Aviva Premiership win over Saracens at Kingsholm on Friday evening.
The update said that Bristol-born England no 8 “Morgan has suffered a fracture to his lower left leg and had surgery performed on Saturday morning. He will commence an appropriate rehabilitation programme for this type of injury over the coming weeks.
While Swindon born 32-year-old prop “Wood was taken to hospital after the game after suffering an injury to his neck. He has had scans which indicate that he has suffered no serious bone or joint injury and has returned home on Saturday. He will undergo further assessment next week.”
