WOMENS GOLF 2018 South West Week at St Enodoc

ENGLAND GOLF logoRegional amateur county women's golf champions Gloucestershire began their successful title defence with a narrow 5-4 win over Dorset at St Enodoc GC, Rock.
On Tuesday the defending champions drew with hosts Cornwall, who teed off with a big 7-2 win over Wiltshire.
Gloucestershire remained unbeaten throughout the week to secure their eight successive South West Week title, and will represent the region at the national county finals.
This year's English Womens County Finals are being staged at Royal North Devon Golf Club from September 17-21.
Last year Gloucestershire finished runners-up in the national finals following a last day 5-4 defeat to Yorkshire at Felixstowe Ferry GC.
Yorkshire's dramatic win enabled them to pip Gloucestershire to the title by just one point.
Gloucestershire will now be determined to go one place better at Westward Ho!
