BROAD BOOST FOR TRURO TROPHY REPLAY

Truro City’s squad is boosted by the return of midfielder Joe Broad for tonight’s FA Trophy third qualifying round replay against Gloucester City at Treyew Road (7.45).

Broad has completed a three-match suspension and returns to a City side who came back from 1-0 down to draw 1-1 at Whaddon Road on Saturday to force tonight’s replay.

ALDRED IN AS GULLS CENTRE BACK-UP

torquay united football club logoTorquay United signed Colchester United central defender Tom Aldred on loan yesterday but Mark Ellis and Chris Robertson are set to start as the centre back pairing at Port Vale tonight (1945).

Bolton-born Aldred, 21, will act as centre back-up as Brian Saah (groin) is could be ruled out for between 4-6 weeks by injury sustained in the 3-1 Devon derby win over Plymouth Argyle at Plainmoor.
