Exeter City Football Club crestWelsh international attacking midfielder Jake Taylor has joined Exeter City FC on a free transfer from Reading FC.

Ascot-born Taylor, 24, spent a successful 2011-12 loan spell with Paul Tisdale's Grecians scoring three times in 30 first team appearances.

Taylor started the season on loan at Scottish Premiership side Motherwell FC.

• Former Torquay United FC and Crystal Palace FC midfielder Bayan Fenwick, 22, has left play-off chasing National League South side Truro City FC.

City's latest signing, on-loan Exeter City teenage forward Matt Jay, scored on his White Tigers debut, Saturday's 4-4 thriller against Maidenhead at Treyew Road.

• Wednesday’s Cornwall FA vs Royal Navy FA senior representative match at Truro City has been postponed in advanced due to weather forecast for more heavy rain, which would waterlog the already "heavy" Treyew Road pitch.
