• Promotion-chasing Bristol Rovers – second in the Football Conference – have swooped to sign experienced striker Jermaine Easter on an 18 month contract.
Cardiff-born Easter, 32, joins Rovers ahead of Saturday’s trip to seventh placed Woking and after his contract with Millwall was cancelled.
Former Plymouth Argyle forward Easter won 12 international caps for Wales and played for Crystal Palace and MK Dons before joining Millwall in 2013.

Like Alex Nicholls and David Noble, 27-year-old playmaker Harley becomes the third loan signing to be converted into a permanent City signing in the current transfer window. Harley began his career at Bristol City.
