Bristol City boss Steve Cotterill confirms playmaker Bobby Reid can stay on loan at League 2 Plymouth Argyle.
City have a 24-hour recall on Bristol-born Reid, who celebrates his 22nd birthday on February 2.
Cotterill's second placed League One side visit Gillingham in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Southern Area final first leg tomorrow night.
City - ball number 32 in tonight's FA Cup fourth round draw - host Doncaster Rovers in their third round replay next Tuesday at Ashton Gate (1945ko).
• Bideford AFC striker Ben Watson could be on his way back to former club Dorchester Town.
The Magpies want to sign 29-year-old former Truro and Exeter City forward Watson, Dorchester's 17-goal top scorer at the end of the 2012-13 campaign.
Dorchester visit Adrian Foster's Frome Town in the Southern League Premier on Wednesday.
