Plymouth Argyle’s England Youth international Matt Lecointe has signed professional forms to stay at Home Park.

The 17-year-old Plymouth-born striker (pictured) netted his first senior goal for Carl Fletcher’s Pilgrims in a 3-2 win at Dagenham in mid-October and has established himself as a first team squad regular.

The former Hyde Park Junior School and Ivybridge Community College student scored on his England Youth debut in a 3-0 win over Poland at Crewe.

• Goalkeeper Jason Matthews has joined Dorchester Town from Bath City.

Somerset-born shot stopper Matthews, 37, hails from Paulton and is a former Exeter City keeper.

• Poole Town will host Gosport Borough in next Monday's Evo-Stik League Southern Division One South & West play off final (Tatnam, 1500).
