Lintott’s impressive form with Wiltshire in 2019 secured him a trial with Warwickshire in 2020 and, having made his mark in the Vitality Blast, he secured a contract at Edgbaston.
Warwickshire are not in action this weekend so Lintott has been named in Wiltshire’s squad against his former county.
Ed Ellis will combine his duties as Dorset’s wicketkeeper with those of head coach for the first time.
Ellis has taken over as coach from former Essex captain Paul Prichard who has taken up new roles with Hampshire and the Southern Vipers women’s team.
Wales NC break new ground with a first visit to Bangor’s Ty Newydd ground where Bedfordshire are the visitors.
Wales have three contracted Glamorgan players – Lukas Carey, Andy Gorvin and Prem Sisodiya – in their squad along with newcomer Lorenzo Machado, the former Cardiff MCCU wicketkeeper, who now plays his club cricket for Neath.
There will be a National Counties debut for Cornwall’s new professional Ateeq Javid, the former Warwickshire and Leicestershire batsman, against Herefordshire at Brockhampton.
Herefordshire’s 12-man squad includes only four who have played T20 cricket for the county before. Roshan Venkataraman will make his National Counties debut for Herefordshire.
Seamer Mungo Russell will make his first appearance for Berkshire in three years against Oxfordshire at the Falkland club in Newbury with Saif Zaib making his debut.
Zaib, who is contracted to Northamptonshire, previously played for Buckinghamshire, his native county, between 2014 and 2019.
Oxfordshire will give a competitive debut to Harvey Jupp and have batsman Harrison Ward, who signed a professional contract with Sussex last year, available for the double-header.
