University of Exeter are set to resume their England Hockey League Men’s Premier Division campaign at home to Nottingham side Beeston today (University of Exeter Sports Park 1230).
Exeter start the second half of the season – following the midwinter, mid-season break – seeking to move off the bottom of the top flight.

The top women’s hockey team in the region, Clifton Ladies, are set to play their first Investec national league match of 2012 when they host Canterbury (Coombe Dingle Sports Complex 1130) tomorrow.
Bristol-based Clifton side are fifth in the Women’s Premier Division four points behind third placed Canterbury, who edged the mid-October meeting in Kent 2-1.

The big chill is already starting to bite into this weekend’s fixtures with Cornish Pirates’ rescheduled RFU Championship clash at Rotherham Titans on Saturday already put on ice.
Titans officials are now planning for an 1130 pitch inspection at Clifton Lane on Saturday morning to see if the match can be played on Sunday at 1400.

Bath City are set to host Conference rivals Grimsby Town in the FA Trophy third round proper tonight (Twerton Park 1945).
The winners of tonight’s weather-delayed tie will gain quarter final home advantage on Saturday February 25 against either York City of Ebbsfleet United, who are now set to play next Tuesday at the third attempt.
