Torquay United central defender Chris Robertson has joined Preston North End on transfer deadline day for an undisclosed fee.
Scotsman Robertson, 25, has been in outstanding, consistent form for United this term helping guide the soaring Gulls to fifth in League Two on the back of a five-match winning streak and one defeat in 14 league games.

Sri Lankan spin bowling sensation Muttiah Muralitheran is returning to Gloucestershire Cricket for this summer’s 2012 Friends Life Twenty20 competition.
