Paul Wotton's first competitive game in charge of Southern League Premier South new boys Truro City will be away to Met Police tomorrow.Former Plymouth Argyle assistant manager Wotton (pictured) was appointed new White Tigers boss on a two-year deal at the start of July and will be assisted by former Truro City striker Stewart Yetton, who also started his career at hometown club Plymouth.

Wales ended a three-year wait for a Minor Counties Championship victory by defeating hosts Wiltshire by 139 runs inside two days at the South Wilts club in Salisbury.Off-spinner Tom Bevan led Wales to the landmark victory by taking five for 59 – his maiden five wicket haul in the championship – to dismiss Wiltshire for 154 in their second innings.

Cheshire enjoyed their best day of their Minor Counties Championship season as they routed Devon for 85 and then built a lead of 104 at Alderley Edge.
Seamer Ben Aitchison, well supported by Ben Gibbon and Rick Moore, soon had Devon in disarray at 28 for six after they had won the toss.

Wiltshire hope that a landmark victory over Devon will set them up nicely for two matches that will shape their season.
Last week’s four wickets win at Sandford was Wiltshire’s first victory over Devon in the Minor Counties Championship for 52 years.
