University of Exeter graduate and Reading forward Tom Carson fired England into the men's Hero Hockey World League Final semi-finals in New Delhi, India.
The Somerset-based former University of Exeter hockey ace scored England's 47th minute winner in a tense 1-0 victory over Belgium in New Delhi to tee up Friday's semi-final against New Zealand (1215 GMT).

Bristol’s Elite Squash upset the form book with a brilliant 3-2 win at reigning Premier Squash League champions Surrey to make a flying start to 2014.

Torquay United have appointed passionate former promotion-winning skipper Chris Hargreaves as new first team manager - and the man to stave off relegation from League Two.
Devon-based Hargreaves, 41, returns to Torquay following a south coast switch from AFC Bournemouth, where he was first team coach. It will be Hargreaves' first foray into Football League management.
