The new National League season is finally set to kick off - three weeks after the Football League.Like the leagues above it in the English football pyramid, the National League is not - yet - able to permit fans into grounds.

Super sub Ben Holter scored Saltash’s fourth goal in stoppage time to break the hearts of leaders Camelford at Kimberley Stadium.The young striker had been on the field for only two minutes when he produced a quality finish only 20 seconds after the Camels had poured forward for a corner in search of an equaliser.

Dartmouth twice came from behind to claim all three points in a hugely entertaining, high tempo, Peninsula Premier clash at The Mill.The Darts were 1-0 and 2-1 down but showed great resilience and belief to clinch victory against a strong Torpoint side.

The national Men's Hockey League gets in full swing today.Yes I know there were men and women's premier division games last week but - for most - the league season starts for real this weekend with games across all national league divisions.

Thomas Cleveland scored a hat-trick as Liskeard produced a stunning performance to inflict on Helston their first league defeat in 13 months.
Liskeard were the last team to beat Helston, 2-1 at Kellaway Park on August 17 2019. Helston had gone 27 league games unbeaten with 26 straight wins until Wednesday's 3-3 home draw with Newquay.
