Gloucester Rugby have issued an update on forwards Ben Morgan and Nick Wood, both injured in the 24-23 Aviva Premiership win over Saracens at Kingsholm on Friday evening.
The update said that Bristol-born England no 8 “Morgan has suffered a fracture to his lower left leg and had surgery performed on Saturday morning. He will commence an appropriate rehabilitation programme for this type of injury over the coming weeks.

Torquay United boss Chris Hargreaves hopes his fledgling Gulls use their 4-0 FA Trophy second round win over promotion chasing Conference South Bromley FC as a springboard for league success, starting next Saturday at Altrincham.
Hargreaves – whose side coasted to victory on the Devon south coast – said: “The game next week at Altrincham is important (because) we haven’t had the run in the league that we’ve wanted after such a bright start so we want to get back at it.

International second row forward Dave Attwood is set to make his 100th Bath Rugby appearance in today’s eagerly anticipated Aviva Premiership match at home to Wasps at the Recreation Ground, 1500ko.
Bristol born Attwood, one of England Rugby’s standout players in the recent Autumn series, is named at lock alongside Bath Rugby skipper Stuart Hooper.
