Exeter Diamonds turned in another sparkling Premier Squash League performance to whitewash Winchester 5-0 and soar to third in Group B.

A second 5-0 win of the season warms Diamonds up for an eagerly anticipated home clash with table topping Chichester at Devon & Exeter Squash & Racketball Club in two weeks.

Last night's win produced another imperious display by the Devon team with straight games success for Aisling Blake, Tim Vail, Finland's Olli Tuominen and Exeter's number one, Dutch ace Laurens Jan Anjema.

Winchester's scant consolation was a singles point for Scott Fitzgerald at three as Joey Barrington put Exeter into an unassailable 3-0 lead.

Exeter - sponsored by Michael Spiers exclusive jewellery - are two points behind second placed Surrey Health & Racquets, 4-1 winners at second from bottom UWE Bristol.

Bristol number one Mohamed El Shorbagy beat Peter Barker 12-10 12-10 9-11 3-11 11-9 in a 55-minute marathon.

Chichester made it four wins from four with a 4-1 home win over St George's Hill.
