Plymouth's world champion Tom Daley will lead the British Gas GBR Diving Team into competition at the World Championships in Shanghai next month.
World-famous teenage sports star Daley - who is a student at Plymouth College and coached by Andy Banks at Plymouth Diving - will spearhead Britain's challenge along with Olympic silver medallist Pete Waterfield.
Plymouth Diving's national champion Tonia Couch is also named in the 11-strong GB squad.
Daley (pictured) and Southampton's Waterfield will feature in both men’s platform events and face a testing challenge from world number one diving nation, China, who will be competing on home soil.
Plymothian Couch is one of the most experienced female divers on the team and after winning the national title in Leeds will be looking forward to competing on the world stage in Shanghai.
