Bristol Thunder korfball It's free to see national Premier Korfball League action in Bristol today as Bristol Thunder host South London's long established Bec Korfball Club at Bristol Grammar School (1430).

Tooting-based Bec were founded in 1948 and celebrated their 70th anniversary last year. 

Bristol Thunder was founded in 2011 by a group of ex-Bristol University players.

From humble beginnings as the newest korfball club in Bristol, Thunder has quickly expanded into the largest korfball club in the South West.

Korfball is an eight-a-side mixed gender sport with elements of basketball, netball and handball which originates from the Netherlands.

Played by teams of four females and four males, korfball is a fast-growing team sport which boasts expanding national and regional leagues.
